it may be all those lego fantasy homes i build these days or my happy chance to work-from-home every day, but gosh i could day-dream away a week or two designing my dream home in my mind!  {plus ... it's easier on the pocketbook!}

  3. I never would have thought some of these could be possible! I guess engineers are pretty smart these days. If I ever build, I'm DEFINITELY doing a bookcase on my stairs...that's quite genius.

    For some reason sinks intrigue me. I think it would take me a long time to decide on a sink because there are SOOOOOO many great options. My Grandma converted an antique buffet into a sink...so fun!

  16. Wow, I have so many of the same staircases printed out and pasted into my house design ideas notebook. We're completely renovating our home and an open staircase is a must! We've also joked about adding a fireman's pole - our son would LOVE that.
