one of my favourite things is fast fading.
i think i might have glimpsed the last peony bush in it's lulling glory today.
i just adore peonies.
there is something so wonderfully nostalgic & charmingly familiar about them for me.
they remind me, so fondly, of my grandparents' beautiful beautiful farm garden.

ReplyDeleteI adore peonies as well... I just made a large bouquet of them on Wednesday for a dinner party. I even love when they are fading with petals dropping- so nostalgic...
My absolute favourite too...I MUST put that on my list for planting next year in my ever so sparse garden.

My little sister absolutely loves peonies! And though I'm not a big flower fan to start with, peonies are definitely one of my favorites as well. So pretty!
