I nominate the Flickr group Hand Knit Hand-Me-Downs http://www.flickr.com/groups/handknithandmedowns/ It was started recently by Julie of www.thiscosylife.etsy.com as a way to pass along hand-knitted or hand-crocheted items that are no longer of use to their maker/owner, but which still have plenty of wear in them. It's totally free, you just have to post a picture of the item you ask for being used once you get it. It's such a great idea for keeping handmade items out of storage or the landfill.
