on pins and needles

:: artful pins & needles ::

...............

seems as though tis the season of *on pins and needles*... a grand slew of things to be a little anxious / thoughtful / worried about / mindful of!

some things are a little worrisome. some much less so.
life's like that, right!?
on the sillier end of things (i.e. not real worries!) ... we're all on pins and needles here tonight about game 6 of the stanley cup hockey finals!

now you may know i'm not such a hockey fan (read my mean tirade , jokey dis-love tale here) ... but little rikrak and mr. rikrak LOVE the vancouver canucks. me too!

so instead of worrying about all that other stuff tonight, let's just cheer on our cute canucks!

go vancouver!

what do you do to ease your nerves when you're worried about stuff, nicies?

cheering for boston or vancouver?

  1. Hmmm...good question. I tend to dive head first into a project. This way I stay busy and hopefully not worry

  3. Sweet picks!! Thanks muchly :) I am supposed to root for Boston but I don't follow hockey, so whatever! I love looking at cute pictures of baby animals when I am stressed out. Yeah, I know, SO original :)

  4. I'm not much of a hockey fan but if there's ever a Canadian team in the finals that's who I cheer for!

  5. I possibly should not admit that I had no idea the Stanley cup was going on. Not a hockey girl myself. I have only visited Boston and Vancouver - but loved both cities. Can I keep fingers crossed for both?
    Thank you for including my little thimble :)

  6. VANCOUVER! Now that we've settled that (I'm watching Boston up 4 to 1 in the 3rd!) to relax when worried I'd say Chamomile Tea and a trashy book!
