I nominate this thrifty website because it helps me make economical meals. It gives me ideas about how to make things with what I already have in my pantry. There are links to recipes and coupons. There are great ideas for planning meals so you save money by shopping with a plan.

Crafting a Green World is an excellent blog focusing on eco-friendly craft projects. The site also promotes crafting companies that create environmentally-friendly products, which is great to learn about.

  3. I would like to nominate my blog:

    http://www.misscheviousdesigns.com/blog.php

Its a fairly new blog but, since I'm currently unemployed and trying to make it as a new entrepreneur on a limited budget, a lot of my focus is on thrifty DIY tips and ideas, both for personal and professional needs.

  4. I want to nominate this blog:
    http://dottieangel.blogspot.com/
The beautiful pictures of her blog inspire me to go on with my own thrifting addiction :-)
I have been using lots of thrifted materials in my own jewelry (vintage leather bags that I cut to flowers, old ties that I repurpose to silk beads, vintage buttons, vintage wallpaper and books that I use in my teapotcollages...)
And I decided to spend one blogpost a week this year about thrifting my interior.
So I want to nominate my own blog too :-) if this is allowed!

  11. I'd love to nominate
    http://www.missmalaprop.com/

Mallory was one of the first eco-minded blogs I discovered probably at least 3 years ago. She makes tons of effort to create items that are recycled, to encourage others to think earth friendly, and connects people with tons of great handmade and "green" resources. She's also very charitable to good causes.

On my own little blog http://www.artaddict.wordpress.com I typically try to cover plenty of nature and organic inspired items, and even run a Sunday sustainability tips feature.

I'd like to second Crafting a Green World, but also nominate Threadbanger: http://www.threadbanger.com/

These guys have created a great resource for people who want to transform their old clothes or thrift store duds into amazing new DIY fashion. I think they really hit a younger demographic too, which is great, since it gets people started with recycling their fashion sooner!

which is a combination of vintage and my own handmade items. We all know that vintage is green, but my mosaic, decoupage and collage items are also made from thrifted items.
