i read yesterday about the octuplets born in California. 8 babies at one time! that's truly amazing! so in honour of thingseight .... the octagon.

when i think octagon, i think sturdy, strong, multi-faceted. and after finding these octagonal beauties.. i think GORGEOUS!! (these were amazing handmade entries in the origami tessellations flickr group October octagon contest, as seen on the amazing site Origami Tessellations! )
