I'm reading "On Writing Well" from William Zinsser.
And also short stories from P.G. Wodehouse all the time :)
I'm reading "The Return: Nightfall" by L. J. Smith. it's about vampires :)
i just picked up 'water for elephants' at my library a few days ago... i'm eight chapters in, and enjoyng it so far!
I'm reading Anne Michaels' "The Winter Vault" for our Book Club. So far so good!!
I have just started Shrödinger's cat...about quantum physics...

Right now I'm trying to devour "The Autobiography of Henry VIII". It's only 1000 pages long. Haha, oh well.

I got a nook a few weeks ago and I love reading my books that way.
Just a magazine, Marie Claire Idées is a craft magazine in French, the mags is beautiful and lots of handy tips. But the most important things is in French so I can force myself to improve my french, is not funny now my 5 years old speaks much better French than me!:)

I'm reading "The knot book" - an introduction to knot theory (a subfield of mathematical topology), and again Asterios Polyp - a comic novel by Mazzucchelli (best comic novel ever for me)
I've always got a book or two on the go, just finished up "Alice I have Been" by Melanie Benjamin and recommend it!
I am reading Wicked and I am also reading The Thief.
Oh yeah, I am also reading Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
Reading _A Conspiracy of Kings_ by Megan Whelan Turner (who also wrote _The Thief_, which someone above me mentioned). So amazing. I write in this genre, and...there are just some authors that intimidate me because they are WAY TOO GOOD. Yes, she is one. No, I cannot wait to spend Saturday finishing this up.
I'm currently reading Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. Its a great historical read.
I'm also reading Dot Robot by Jason Bradbury its supposed to be a children's book but I can't put it down!
I'm always reading something. Presently I am reading Tracking Time by Leslie Glass. It's real good.
I'm reading 'Creativity for Life' by Eric Maisel (awesome book!) and just starting 'Barney's Version' by Mordecai Richler. Read it years ago and loved it.
I'm rereading "100 years of Solitude" for a new book club we've started at work and I LOVE it AGAIN!
That's not always the case when I revisit works.

I just started reading "Jewels: A Secret History" by Victoria Finly. Oh, the journeys we can take by reading.....
I love murder and mayhem, fantasy and scifi - and not afraid to admit it! definitely for escape, not for edification. Currently, J.R.Ward brotherhood book (vampires and lots of sex-eek), next P.D. Cast Hunted(vampires) and then new Sookie book. and yes I have bad dreams.
