6 am today.
this was how my morning looked. felt. sounded.
a little while ago now on kootsac's wonderful blog, i glimpsed these gorgeous works and have been saving their beauty for just such a frosty morning as today.
the works are the brainchild of new denver, british columbia artist nadine stefan, and her series, in captivity is, for me, hauntingly mesmerizing, perfectly still, that wonderful binary combination of poetical fragility mixed with intuitive fortitude, and simply ... beautiful beautiful beautiful.
