our wintry lake :: image by kristal davis / rikrak

............

snowy winter has finally arrived.

and the lake is lovely in white: fishing huts punctuating.

i so adore the pixelated view of snowfalls dusty in the camera viewfinder.

how's your winter looking, sweeties!

photo essay: the toboggan hill light

{ all images by me: kristal davis / rikrak 2011 }

............

how wintry light thrills me.

all those beauty blues + gorgeous greys gentle on the dappled white.

it was just such a perfect late afternoon at the toboggan hill.

add the setting sun, my cute boys, picnicing hot cocoa + i'm totally smitten.

happy long weekend, lovelies.

hope yours is filled with

 family fun, beautiful skies + wonderful wonderful light.
