i just love seeing what folks are collecting. i guess i kind of feel it tells us just a little bit about what inspires them, what they love, and what they choose to surround themselves with in their home. today, i'm delighted to present the next in the rikrak studio's collections series: quick questions with a wonderful artist on what they're collecting, (apart from their art supplies! ) you can also check out my new *the collectors* series on Etsy, based on these posts! hope you'll just love vintage novelties with ikabags.

who (are you) : I am ikabags from PARIS, FRANCE
what (are you collecting) :I am in love all old books and handmade artisan items
when (did you start) :When I was 7 years old I started with stamps
how (many do you have?) Now more then 500
where (do you find them) :In France and Turkey
where (do you keep them) :At home everywhere :))
what(piece would you like to add): More sailor items .
why (do you love them) : I feel their memories when i touch them , they can speak with us :))
which (one is your favorite) & why : For me the most important story is the one behind the small shoes (2 cm). Those shoes remind me of when my grandfather ate their shoes during first world war when they couldn t find anything to eat. i always remember this memory while looking at those shoes and we should be happy about small things like them . I wish there for no war and no bad things happenned to human beings .
what (else do you collect) : I like all old handmade items ! I love kitchen items and torchons

•Adjustable strap is with cream 1.5" natural military cotton webbing.The strap is strong but doesn't rub your skin raw !
•I am fastened with a snap fastener.

•Have 4+3+2= 9 individual organizer pockets with cream unique french fabric for important objects like phone,i phone,i pod ,books, key,diapers , pencil etc...
