happy mother's day to all of the great mothering women out there.
to all of the grandmas & aunties & sisters & friends & teachers & mentors & volunteers that help lovingly *mother* the wee ones of the world. here's to you!

as a mom, i so very much adore and appreciate all of the amazing women who have taken an active role in supporting mommying in so many wonderful ways. i think of the women in my own life who do this by interacting with little rikrak in such loving and fun ways. by encouraging me with my own mommying ideas, concerns, hopes. by helping to look out for, inspire & love little rikrak.

i certainly agree with the idea that *it takes a village* to raise a child.
and i'm so thankful to all of the amazing women that create a community of love for my own child & children everywhere.

i think that's one of the most admirable things in the world to do.
so happy mothering day to you all! hugs to you!

what i'm working on: bibs

afternoon, lovelies.

it's been a fun-filled day here @ the rikrak home. today i got to do something i've NEVER done in my life before... but more on that later! :)

and now it's back to work! i'm working on lots and lots of sustainable patchwork bibs today & tomorrow for some wholesale orders... and maybe a few new ones for the rikrak shop, too! what have you been working on?
