A good read, and even better if you are familiar with mental health issues.<br /><br />I would also recommend My Guantanamo Diary although the stories are disturbing.PrairiePeasanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03501884283182432694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075572792392160126.post-44169582211461085922009-08-11T15:24:28.800-04:002009-08-11T15:24:28.800-04:00I have been working my way through some classics t...I have been working my way through some classics this summer - so far I have read Pride and Prejudice, Dracula, and Frankenstein.Marcihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07411724855110689130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075572792392160126.post-83223282043953919202009-08-11T13:00:36.642-04:002009-08-11T13:00:36.642-04:00it's not a new book or anything, but i've ...it's not a new book or anything, but i've been reading "The Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan. it's a great eye opener on food production in america. i also read "Broken Open" by Elisabeth LesserMissRedLipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14648495332650644716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075572792392160126.post-25049347421949283092009-08-11T12:47:28.084-04:002009-08-11T12:47:28.084-04:00My summer reading has all been a bit disappointing...My summer reading has all been a bit disappointing. A quick synopsis: "Glamorgan Farm in North Saanich, B.C. is one of the oldest farms on Vancouver Island. Owner Anny Scoones rescued the original farm buildings from near-destruction and has carefully restored them. The barns now house rare breeds of livestock, while the gardens and orchards flourish with heirloom plants and vegetables"<br /><br />A lovely, lovely book!Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00765321512060481737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3075572792392160126.post-37246280220543050102009-08-11T10:44:49.379-04:002009-08-11T10:44:49.379-04:00I just finished My Sister's Keeper - oooooh, t...I just finished My Sister's Keeper - oooooh, that was a good one!
